STEP 3: Qualify for Assistance

Upon reviewing your application, a representative from our office will contact you to verify your information. At that time, we will determine if you qualify for assistance through the WIOA program.

Please feel free to reach out to our office if you have not been contacted 5 business days (Monday – Friday) following the submittal of your initial assessment form.

WIOA is limited in providing services only to those who meet specific requirements. That means, unfortunately, we cannot help everyone who applies under this program. Our ability to provide training requires funding to be available and for individuals to meet each of the following criteria:

  • You are eligible under WIOA rules;
  • You reside in our service areas – Baldwin, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Macon-Bibb, Monroe, Twiggs, Peach, Pulaski, Putnam, or Wilkinson County;
  • You have selected training that meets our requirements; and
  • You have the necessary qualifications to complete training and obtain a training related job.

STEP 4: Complete WIOA Training Application

Once our team has determined you qualify for WIOA services and you’ve registered for your WorkSource user ID, you will need to complete the WIOA Training Application. Click on the link below to begin the application process.

STEP 5: Interview with a Career Facilitator

If a Career Facilitator believes you may qualify and be suitable for our program, we will contact you to schedule an appointment for an interview. You will be sent an email with an application and documents that will be required at the time of the interview.

If you do not have an email address the Career Facilitator will make arrangements to get you the information needed.
