Job Title: Business Services Specialist - Middle Georgia Consortium, Inc.
Business Services Specialist needed for primary point of contact with employers and business development organizations. Duties include attending and participating in business and employer meetings, building and maintaining employer relationships for the purpose of identifying their employment and training needs. Coordinates workforce training seminars, job fairs and employer events. Assists in the negotiation process of contracts with employers, conducts pre-award reviews, writes, modifies and reviews contracts. Reviews cost and conducts contract performance evaluations. Reviews and maintains contractor expense and budget records. Maintains contractor files. Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, human resources or a related field with at least two years of experience in sales, marketing, recruitment, human resources or a related field is required; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Travel within the Middle Georgia area is required.
Salary range: $48,419 ($24.83) plus employer paid benefits.
